PEGASTA 6mg (Pegfilgrastim) Injection is used to prevent or treat neutropenia (having a lower than normal number of white blood cells called neutrophils), which in turn lowers a person’s risk of serious infections after chemotherapy. Pegasta stimulates the bone marrow to produce white blood cells which protect the body against infections. Pegasta can be obtained only with prescription.
