Irnocam (Irinotecan) injection is an anti-cancer medication which can be obtained only with prescription. It is an inhibits the activity of an enzyme called topoisomerase which is required for replication of DNA in the cancer cells and thereby stops the growth and multiplication of cancer cells.

Either as a single agent or in combination with fluorouracil and leucovorin
125 mg/m2 intravenously over 90 minutes once a week for four doses
As a single agent:
350 mg/m2 intravenously over 90 minutes every three weeks
In combination with fluorouracil and leucovorin:
180 mg/m2 intravenously over 90 minutes every other week for three doses.
Most common side effects are Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness, Hair loss, Fever, Anemia, Diarrhoea, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Decreased appetite, Mucosal inflammation.
