DESCRIPTION
Merotrol (Meropenem) is a prescription drug used as antibiotic to treat serious bacterial infections of skin, urinary tract, stomach, blood, brain & lungs.

Storage : Store at temperature between 15°C – 30°C
Dosage :
Skin and Structure Infection :
- 500 mg IV every 8 hours
- Complicated infections due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa: 1 g IV every 8 hours
Intraabdominal Infection :
- 1 g IV every 8 hours
Meningitis :
- 2 g IV every 8 hours for 7 to 21 days
Nosocomial Pneumonia :
- 1g IV every 8 hours
SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects are Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Seizure, Skin Rash, Diarrhea, Constipation, Body Pain.
